Cancer Quilts

        Members of Living Word Lutheran Church work throughout the year sewing quilts for cancer patients. Each year, the Cancer Quilt committee selects a different hospital to donate the colorful quilts.

        Here, more than 100 quilts are displayed prior to a Sunday worship service, during which the quilts were blessed and then taken to Medina General Hospital.

        The quilting group meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month at the church. For more information, or to join the group, call the church office.
